Dear Beverley,

My first job as a newly qualified OT. I was petrified. You took me under your wing and looked after me through the joy and chaos that working in older persons mental health brings. You brought so much joy and creativity and instinctively knew how to make people smile, laugh, sing and dance despite their challenges, from making wedding cakes for the royal wedding to ad hoc performances with a variety of hats. I always hoped I would one day have the skill you had at being able to know how to bring others to life. I am grateful to you Beverley for your kindness and support and starting my career off in the best possible way. Love to your family. X
